1951 - Incorporation of The Anglo-Mauritius Assurance Society Limited. Its main shareholders are The Anglo-Ceylon & General Estates Co. Ltd, Mon Trésor Mon Désert Ltd, stakeholders of the local sugar industry and The Mercantile & General Reinsurance Co. Ltd of London. Its main objects were to undertake the business of life assurance for individuals and the administration of private pension schemes for corporate companies. 

Early 60's - The Anglo-Mauritius becomes a pioneer in private pension schemes in Mauritius. 

1966 - Inauguration of the Anglo-Mauritius House (1st building in Port-Louis). 

1968 - Creation of Mauritius Life Assurance Company which developed the sale of life insurance which will later be amalgamated with the Anglo-Mauritius. 

End of 60's - Implication of The Anglo-Mauritius in the tourism industry by a major contribution to the creation of the Merville Hotel, one of the first hotel in Mauritius. 

1972 - Acquisition of a major part of The Anglo-Mauritius by Swan Insurance. 

1990 - Anglo-Mauritius listed on the OTC market. 

1993 - Construction of the Swan Group Centre. 

2001 - Launching of Swan Group websites. 

2004 - Creation of The Anglo-Mauritius Financial Services Ltd (AMFS), a subsidiary of Anglo-Mauritius. AMFS manages the investments of the Group, both at the local and International level.

2004 -Anglo-Mauritius buys back Consultants and Administrators Ltd (PCA). 

2006 - Swan International Ltd (SIL), in partnership with Seychelles Pension Fund, acquires 30% of SACOS capital, Seychelles Insurance company. 

2007 - Launching of the range of 'Oxygen' policies by The Anglo-Mauritius 

2007 - Opening of Flacq's branch. 

2010 -   Anglo-Mauritius buys the life-insurance portfolio of Sun Insurance Co Ltd. 

2010 - Launching of Swan Group Foundation. 

2010 - Opening of Black River's branch. 

2011 - Opening of Oxygen Insurance Shop, in Port Louis.
